Forsyth Central High School is hiring a GROW paraprofessional to support specialized instruction under a classroom teacher’s direction. The 190-day position assists individual students and small groups, reinforces lessons, helps manage classroom routines and behavior, records student performance and prepares instructional materials. It may also include clerical work and physical assistance connected with student needs. Applicants must qualify for a Georgia Professional Standards Commission paraprofessional license. Eligibility requires an associate degree or higher, or a passing GACE paraprofessional assessment together with a high school diploma or equivalent. The work is school based and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a retirement-system-covered, nonexempt support position.
