VP, Chief Accounting Officer

AGCO’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer leads the company’s global accounting and controllership organization from Duluth. Reporting to the chief financial officer, the executive is responsible for accurate financial reporting, internal controls, accounting-policy consistency and the strategic direction of global controllership. The role oversees monthly, quarterly and annual close and consolidation work; advises senior leaders on accounting implications of major transactions; sets enterprise accounting policies and governance standards; and drives process standardization, automation and continuous improvement. The position also develops technical accounting capability and leads teams across regions, subsidiaries and business units. Candidates should bring substantial public-company accounting, reporting, controls and executive leadership experience appropriate to a global manufacturer. The position is permanent and onsite.
