Executive Director Enterprise Application Development, Administration, and Support

The Executive Director of Enterprise Application Development, Administration and Support leads Gwinnett County Public Schools’ enterprise software strategy from the Instructional Support Center in Suwanee. The executive oversees application development, integration, release management, production support, data governance and vendor-managed platforms. Priorities include modernizing administrative systems, reducing technical debt, strengthening security and recovery practices, improving data quality and making authoritative information available for reporting and decisions. The role manages technical teams, budgets, contracts and a multiyear application roadmap while partnering with academic, finance, human-resources and operations leaders. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or 10 years of related experience, plus 10 years of progressive work in enterprise applications, integration, data management or related technology functions. Senior leadership experience and credentials in cloud, architecture, project management, cybersecurity or data governance are preferred. Pay is not disclosed.
