Award or Milestone
North Atlanta Star Reaches 50,000 Monthly Page Views
North Atlanta Star has reached 50,000 page views in a month, an important milestone for an independent publication built to cover the communities north of Atlanta.
Each visit represents a reader looking for something close to home.
Reaching 50,000 monthly page views confirms that there is an audience for serious, approachable local journalism across Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, South Forsyth, Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Duluth and Peachtree Corners.
A Publication Built Around North Atlanta
North Atlanta Star has followed the redevelopment of North Point Mall and its connection to Alpharetta’s pursuit of an NHL team, Boehringer Ingelheim’s move of nearly 500 employees into a new Johns Creek headquarters, construction along McGinnis Ferry Road and the widening gap between local incomes and housing costs. We have also tracked the Whole Foods-anchored Forsyth Town Center taking shape along Ronald Reagan Boulevard, as well as new restaurants including Noosh, Roswell Provisions and Walnut Vegan and local attractions such as iSmash in Roswell. Together, these stories capture North Atlanta as it is actually experienced: through major investments and public decisions, but also through the businesses, roads and gathering places that become part of everyday life.
North Atlanta Star remains independently owned, locally focused and free to read. Our purpose is not simply to report that something happened, but to explain what it means for the people who live here.
This milestone belongs to the readers who opened our stories, shared them with neighbors, responded with corrections and ideas, and told us about people and places we might otherwise have missed.
Introducing North Atlanta Star Paid Announcements
To mark the 50,000-page-view milestone, North Atlanta Star is opening a new paid-announcement service for local businesses, nonprofits and community organizations.
The service provides a simple way to publish eligible press releases, event announcements, business openings, expansions, new hires, promotions, awards and community milestones before a growing North Atlanta audience.
Each accepted announcement receives:
- A permanent, shareable page on North Atlanta Star
- A clearly identified place in our Business Announcements section
- One publishable photograph and one organization website link
- Editorial review for clarity, suitability and presentation
- Eligibility for clearly labeled placement on the North Atlanta Star homepage and alongside regular articles
- Inclusion in the next available newsletter when offered
Paid announcements are kept clearly separate from independent newsroom reporting. Purchasing an announcement does not guarantee or influence editorial coverage.
A $10 Launch Price for the First 25
In recognition of this milestone, the first 25 eligible paid announcements are available for a launch price of $10 each. After those 25 placements have been claimed, the regular price will be $39 per announcement.
The introductory offer is intended to give local organizations an affordable opportunity to introduce themselves, announce something important and reach readers across North Atlanta.
Every submission remains subject to editorial review. Legal notices, political campaign material, obituaries, misleading claims and content submitted without publication rights are not accepted through this service.
Organizations ready to share an announcement can begin through the North Atlanta Star submission page.
Fifty thousand monthly page views is a number worth celebrating. More importantly, it gives North Atlanta Star a stronger foundation for the next story, the next local discovery and the next stage of growth.
