Global View
Opinion · Local voices. Connections around the world.
You live here. Part of your story reaches further.
Many of our neighbors have made North Atlanta their home while keeping close ties to the countries where they grew up. Those connections remain part of daily life, through family, language, traditions and concern for what is happening there.
Global View is a place for local residents with international ties to share those experiences and perspectives. Tell us about the places and people who matter to you, so we can better understand our neighbors, their backgrounds and the issues close to their hearts.
We welcome personal essays, opinions and experiences from people with family, personal or lived ties to other countries, whether you were born abroad or here. You do not have to be a professional writer. A few honest sentences can be the beginning.

Send an idea, a short response or a complete piece. Around 500–800 words is a useful guide for an essay, but you can start smaller. If you would rather speak with an editor, choose that option in the form. You may write in another language; we will review any translation with you.
