Athletic Assitant – 2026

The part-time Athletic Assistant helps supervise city sports programs and keeps facilities ready for practices and games. Duties include opening and securing buildings, checking fields and indoor areas, enforcing facility rules, monitoring weather and safety conditions, helping participants and spectators, coordinating with recreation staff and completing light cleanup. Applicants must be at least 16, be available for evening and weekend assignments and be able to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds. An interest in youth athletics is required; college coursework is preferred but not mandatory. CPR, first-aid and AED certification are preferred.
