Park Maintenance

Sugar Hill’s Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting a full-time park-maintenance employee for outdoor grounds and facility work. Duties include mowing, trash removal, basic equipment upkeep and operation of utility vehicles, trimmers, edgers, blowers and common hand or janitorial tools. The position requires a varied schedule that can include weekends and holidays, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Preferred qualifications include a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, customer-service experience and CPR or first-aid certification. The employee must be able to follow instructions, manage several priorities, perform basic arithmetic and lift or carry 50 pounds while bending, climbing and working outside in changing conditions.
