Electrical & Controls Engineer – PE

ANDRITZ is recruiting a registered Professional Engineer for a permanent, office-based position in Alpharetta. The engineer will develop electrical and control-system improvements for industrial customers, beginning with facility assessments and preliminary estimates. Assignments include power distribution, motor controls, grounding, instrumentation and control-system programming, followed by testing and commissioning. The role also involves preparing technical drawings and evaluating construction and tender packages. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a similar subject and at least five years of industrial engineering experience. Professional Engineer registration, practical knowledge of North American standards and authorization to work in the United States are required. Domestic and international travel typically accounts for 5% to 20% of the role. Pulp-and-paper experience is an advantage.
