GIS Technician

The City of Lawrenceville is accepting applications for a GIS Technician in its Information Technology Department. The employee will maintain and update geographic information used by city utilities, work with SDE geodatabases, web maps, web services and attribute tables, and prepare maps for staff and the public. The job also supports field data collection and responds to mapping questions from other departments. Applicants need knowledge normally associated with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus enough experience to understand the job’s core duties, typically an internship, apprenticeship or one to two years in a similar position. A valid driver’s license is required. The city lists an annual salary range of $58,742.24 to $75,190.07 and a full-time schedule at Lawrenceville City Hall.
