Surgical Technologist Scrub Tech

Work with the surgical team at Roswell Surgery Center on a PRN basis. The technologist prepares instruments, supplies and equipment for procedures and protects the sterile field during surgery. The center performs orthopedic surgery, and the role also participates in quality-improvement work. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and completion of a surgical-technician program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification must meet state and center requirements. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center is strongly preferred. Candidates should understand surgical procedures and aseptic technique, respond effectively to changes in a patient’s condition and communicate well with physicians and other staff.
