Job description
This Alpharetta internship places an engineering student with Siemens Mobility’s rail traction-components team for 10 to 12 weeks in summer 2027. The intern will help specify, commission, debug and maintain test equipment, troubleshoot technical problems and develop processes used to evaluate rail components. The assignment also includes time with project management, engineering and manufacturing teams. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in mechanical, electrical or computer engineering, or a closely related discipline, and must live or attend school near Alpharetta. Previous internships, laboratory work or relevant student projects are preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. First-time interns are paid $25 an hour and returning interns $30 an hour. Eligible participants may also use the company’s 401(k) plan.
