Woodstock Mill District Adds New Tenants Ahead of Spring 2027 Opening

Woodstock Mill District is evolving with new tenants moving in ahead of its spring 2027 opening. The Publix-anchored project blends new buildings and a renovated plaza in Woodstock.

Woodstock Mill District is approaching completion with a growing lineup of restaurants, fitness studios and service businesses preparing to occupy the Publix-anchored development.

The 118,000-square-foot district on Towne Lake Parkway is now 79% leased. Tenants are expected to begin taking possession of their spaces this fall in preparation for a spring 2027 opening.

The project combines an 11-acre development with the renovated Towne Lake Plaza shopping center, creating continuous commercial frontage between Interstate 575 and downtown Woodstock.

A 46,791-square-foot Publix will anchor the new construction. The initial tenant lineup also includes Three Dollar Café, Super Chix Chicken & Custard, Club Pilates, Petfolk, E’s Barber Shop, Allure Nail Bar and Dentists at Woodstock Mill.

Sydel’s Coffee will give the district a locally owned café serving coffee, crepes and pastries.

Two additional businesses are joining the renovated 28,000-square-foot shopping center next door.

Tin Drum Asian Kitchen & Boba Tea Bar will bring its pan-Asian menu of stir-fries, ramen, pho, bento boxes and wings. The Atlanta-founded company operates about a dozen locations around the region.

Barre3 Woodstock will offer low-impact classes combining strength training, cardio and mindfulness. The studio is being led by Tyler Peden, a former instructor and associate at barre3’s East Cobb location.

Woodstock Mill District is part of a broader effort to create a continuous retail corridor between downtown Woodstock and Interstate 575.

Those businesses will join The Blue Ghost Arcade, Maxwell’s Cigar Bar and Dive Georgia in the existing shopping center.

Woodstock Mill District will contain six new one- and two-story buildings in addition to Publix. Their placement along Towne Lake Parkway is intended to extend the activity of downtown toward I-575 while serving nearby neighborhoods that have continued to add residents.

Nine commercial spaces remain available, including a freestanding restaurant building intended for a locally operated or chef-led concept.

The district is being developed by Connolly, with architecture inspired by Georgia’s historic mill buildings. A wide sidewalk along the property will connect Main Street with the Greenprints Trail System and Old Rope Mill Trail.

The district’s design draws from Georgia’s historic mill architecture, according to the developer.

Specific opening dates for individual tenants have not been announced, but the development remains on schedule for its broader spring 2027 debut.

Keep it. Pass it on.
