Certified Clinical Office Assistant – PPG Brookhaven

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is hiring a full-time clinical office assistant assigned to PPG Brookhaven. The position combines front-office and back-office responsibilities with patient-care activities supervised by a physician, advanced-practice clinician or registered nurse. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED. The education and experience requirements can be met through completion of an accredited medical-assistant or nursing-assistant program with one year of medical-office experience, or through two years of medical-assistant or related clinical experience instead of the formal program. Certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants or a similarly recognized organization and Basic Life Support certification are required upon hire. Duties must follow the practice’s established clinical guidelines and standards.
