Rebuild Manufacturing plans to add 150 skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs in Rock Hill, South Carolina, through a roughly $20 million expansion expected to begin operating in November.
The project, announced Oct. 6, will add a 130,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility at 2021 Williams Industrial Blvd. The company already operates in Rock Hill and is expanding its advanced composites operations to serve aerospace, defense and industrial customers.
The company designs, engineers and manufactures products for industries ranging from medical equipment to robotics and energy. It operates 12 locations across the United States.
“Our customers are scaling faster than ever, and this expansion is how we scale with them,” co-founder and CEO Miles Arnone said in the state’s announcement.
For job seekers, the project brings a near-term opening target, although the announcement does not specify wages or when all 150 positions will be filled. Applicants are directed to the company’s careers page.
South Carolina’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded York County a $100,000 grant to help pay for building improvements.
