Shake Shack Sets Oct. 30 Opening at Medley in Johns Creek

Shake Shack announces its Johns Creek Medley location opening on October 30, featuring classic menu items and charitable donations. The opening follows Medley's public ribbon cutting event.

Shake Shack will open its Medley restaurant in Johns Creek on Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m., the company confirmed Tuesday.

The restaurant at 2100 Medley Boulevard will be the chain’s 11th location in Georgia. The announcement gives diners a specific opening date for one of the restaurants joining the new mixed-use development.

The date is one day after Medley’s public opening and ribbon cutting on Oct. 29. Although Shake Shack appeared in the development’s previously announced opening lineup, the company’s latest announcement sets its restaurant opening for Oct. 30.

The first wave of opening-day guests will receive custom Shake Shack tote bags. The company did not specify how many bags will be available.

Shake Shack will also donate $1 for every sandwich sold at the Medley restaurant on Oct. 30 to Camp Twin Lakes, which provides camp experiences for children and families living with serious illnesses, disabilities and other challenges.

The company said its relationship with Camp Twin Lakes dates to the opening of its Buckhead restaurant in 2014 and includes participation in the nonprofit’s Spin For Kids fundraiser.

The Johns Creek restaurant’s announced hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

The menu will include ShackBurgers, crinkle-cut fries and hand-spun shakes, along with limited-time offerings. The company said its returning Black Truffle Menu will be among the selections.

The opening falls on the final day of Medley’s three-day launch celebration. A free, family-friendly Halloween Party on The Plaza is scheduled for Oct. 30 from 6 to 10 p.m., with live music and activities.

Keep it. Pass it on.
