Madilyn Browning, a Johns Creek native who most recently managed Tory Burch at Avalon, will lead guest services at Medley as the $560 million development prepares to open Oct. 29.

Toro Development Company named Browning concierge manager for the 43-acre mixed-use community at Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road. She brings more than a decade of retail and management experience to the role.

Her team will handle services ranging from valet parking and restaurant reservations to help planning proposals, birthdays and anniversaries. Valet service will be available seven days a week.

Browning will also oversee Medley Reserve, a membership program offering perks and personalized services. Membership pricing and specific benefits were not included in the announcement.

“When a guest leaves happier than when they arrived, that’s what keeps them coming back,” Browning said. “As someone who grew up in Johns Creek and knows firsthand how special Medley will be, I can’t wait to welcome the community for Grand Opening.”

At Tory Burch’s Avalon store in Alpharetta, Browning managed a multimillion-dollar business, with responsibilities that included customer retention and building long-term client relationships. At Medley, she will hire and develop the concierge team, coordinate with management and serve as a primary contact for tenants.

The appointment adds a local connection to the team preparing to welcome visitors to one of Johns Creek’s largest new developments.

Plans for Medley include 145,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, 883 townhomes and apartments, 110,000 square feet of office space and a 150-room boutique hotel. A 25,000-square-foot plaza is intended to host up to 100 events annually.

The development will also feature murals, sculptures and other public art created in collaboration with artist Greg Mike and ABV Agency & Gallery.

The Oct. 29 grand opening will include community events and activities.
