Persi Bite Brings Fast-Casual Persian Food to Johns Creek

A new Persian restaurant is preparing to open in Johns Creek with a fast-casual format built around kebabs, stews and customizable bowls.

Persi Bite is coming to 11720 Medlock Bridge Road, Suite 164, in the same shopping center as Chili’s and Chipotle. The restaurant is now in its opening phase, with online ordering still disabled and customers invited to sign up for opening updates.

The concept takes traditional Persian dishes and serves them in a build-your-own format. Customers start with rice, salad or fries, then add choices such as koobideh, chicken kabob, salmon, falafel, grilled vegetables or Persian stews.

The menu also includes several dishes that are less common in North Atlanta’s fast-casual market. Ghormeh sabzi combines herbs, lamb, kidney beans and dried lime, while fesenjoon is a Persian stew traditionally built around walnuts and pomegranate. Kashke bademjan, a smoky eggplant dip with whey, onions and mint, is another planned option.

Persi Bite says its recipes come from three generations of family cooking, but the service model is designed for quick meals rather than a formal Persian dining experience. The restaurant also plans sandwiches, hummus and vegetarian choices alongside its bowls and kebabs.

The location previously housed The Peri Peri Grill, which has since closed. That gives Persi Bite an established restaurant space along one of Johns Creek’s busiest commercial corridors.

The timing also adds another international restaurant to an unusually active period for Johns Creek dining. Dervish Turkish Restaurant is preparing a larger full-service restaurant on State Bridge Road, while dozens of restaurants and retailers at Medley are moving toward the development’s Oct. 29 grand opening.

Persi Bite has posted planned hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on weekends. A specific opening date has not yet been announced.
