KidStrong Plans March Opening at The Collection in South Forsyth

KidStrong is opening a children’s training center at The Collection at Forsyth with classes that build physical, cognitive, and social skills. The South Forsyth facility aims to start in March 2027 with 500 members.

KidStrong is preparing to open a children’s training center at The Collection at Forsyth, adding a new family-oriented use to the Peachtree Parkway shopping district.

The center is planned for 410 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 3116. Franchisee Patrick Houseman is targeting a March 2027 opening and hopes to begin with 500 members.

KidStrong combines physical activity with lessons intended to develop confidence, problem-solving, communication and teamwork. Its weekly 45-minute classes serve children from the crawling stage through age 11, with groups organized by developmental level.

Activities can include obstacle courses, climbing, balance exercises, memory challenges, public speaking and cooperative games. The program is broader than gymnastics or sports instruction, although movement remains central to each class.

Houseman, a father of two and former foster parent, said he was drawn to the franchise by its effort to strengthen physical, cognitive and social skills together.

The South Forsyth center will join existing KidStrong locations in Johns Creek and McDonough. Additional metro Atlanta centers are being developed in Snellville, Kennesaw, Marietta and Woodstock, while Houseman is also exploring a future Roswell location.

For The Collection, KidStrong adds an appointment-based business that could generate recurring family visits rather than depending primarily on restaurant traffic or occasional shopping. The center will sit within a property that has been steadily adding new retailers, recreation businesses and dining concepts.

KidStrong also offers camps and birthday parties at many of its centers, although specific programs, membership prices and class schedules for the South Forsyth location have not been released.

An exact opening day and enrollment launch remain forthcoming.

Keep it. Pass it on.
