Rōti Modern Mediterranean Plans South Forsyth Restaurant at New Whole Foods Center
Rōti Modern Mediterranean is expanding in South Forsyth with a new restaurant at Forsyth Town Center near Whole Foods. It will be the brand’s first full storefront in metro Atlanta.

South Forsyth is getting another fast-casual restaurant built around customizable bowls, salads and wraps, this time from a Mediterranean chain preparing to expand its presence in Georgia.
Rōti Modern Mediterranean has signed on for Forsyth Town Center, the new Whole Foods Market-anchored development along Ronald Reagan Parkway. The restaurant is planned for a 2,124-square-foot space at 3125 Ronald Reagan Parkway, Suite 912B, near Peachtree Parkway.
An opening date has not been announced.
The restaurant will be Rōti’s first conventional storefront in metro Atlanta. The company already serves the Georgia market through a delivery-oriented kitchen in Smyrna and a smaller counter inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Forsyth location will introduce the full restaurant experience to a suburban market, allowing customers to move through a service line and assemble meals from a choice of bases, proteins, vegetables, spreads and sauces.
The Rōti menu begins with rice bowls, mixed greens, pitas and wraps. Diners can build their own meals or order combinations such as the za’atar chicken bowl, harissa chicken bowl, salmon and kale bowl, falafel pita or Mediterranean chopped salad.
Proteins include chicken, skirt steak, shrimp, salmon and falafel. Saffron rice, cauliflower rice, hummus, chickpea salad, roasted vegetables, feta, pickled onions and several sauces allow the same basic format to accommodate a wide range of tastes.
The company also identifies options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, keto and halal diets, a potentially useful range in a part of Forsyth County with a diverse and rapidly growing population.
Rōti began in Chicago in 2007 and expanded into several major metropolitan areas before reducing its footprint during the pandemic. The company entered bankruptcy restructuring in 2024 and was acquired the following year by Edible Brands, the Atlanta-area company behind Edible Arrangements.
The new owner is now positioning Rōti for another period of growth. Its current restaurant directory includes locations in Illinois, Minnesota, Washington, D.C., and Georgia, while its franchising program is seeking operators in additional markets.
South Forsyth will provide a visible test of that strategy.
Forsyth Town Center sits across Ronald Reagan Parkway from The Collection at Forsyth, where Cava already operates a busy Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant. House of Hummus, an independent restaurant serving shawarma, falafel, kebabs and other Mediterranean dishes, is also nearby.
That gives Rōti both an established audience and direct competition.
Mediterranean fast-casual restaurants have become increasingly common because their menus can function as both a quick lunch and a customizable alternative to burgers or sandwiches. Customers can choose lighter combinations centered on vegetables and greens or build a more substantial meal with rice, meat, spreads and pita.
Rōti’s arrival will also add another tenant to a shopping center that is gradually taking shape around the future Whole Foods.
Chipotle and Panda Express have already opened at Forsyth Town Center. Potbelly Sandwich Shop is expected to follow in the coming months, while a previously announced Portillo’s is no longer planned for the development.
The center’s location places it near some of South Forsyth’s busiest shopping and residential districts, with access from Peachtree Parkway, Ronald Reagan Parkway and nearby Ga. 400.
Whole Foods will be the development’s principal draw, but the growing restaurant lineup is designed to create traffic throughout the day rather than depend entirely on grocery shoppers. Rōti’s combination of dine-in meals, takeout, delivery and catering should fit naturally within that mix.
Its opening will also mark another shift in Georgia for a company whose current local presence remains easy to overlook. The Smyrna operation gives Rōti a foothold in the state, but a full storefront in South Forsyth will put the brand in front of customers who may never encounter it through a delivery app or stadium concession.
The company has not announced construction timing, hiring plans or operating hours for the new restaurant.
