Skate City Springs Returns Nov. 13 With Glow Nights and New Group Packages
The Sandy Springs rink opens November 13 with a figure skating exhibition, followed by disco Fridays, nightly glow skating and new food-and-skating packages for groups.

Major local stories and useful updates, once a week.
Skate City Springs returns to Sandy Springs on Friday, November 13, with an opening-night figure skating exhibition, a final chance to wear a Halloween costume and new group packages for holiday gatherings.
The outdoor rink at City Green will remain open through January 18, 2027. Opening night includes a 7 p.m. performance by the Atlanta Figure Skating Club and a Fright Night theme for skaters who want to bring their costumes back out.
Disco Fridays and glow skating
Disco Slide Fridays begin November 20, bringing retro music and lights to the rink. Glow skating will take place each evening; neon or white clothing will help skaters stand out under the lights.
Saturday theme parties will include nights devoted to pajamas, superheroes and villains, K-pop and other themes. The themed sessions run from 8 to 10 p.m., with a DJ and free hot cocoa for skaters who dress for the theme. Check the City Springs skating schedule for individual dates before choosing a costume.
Tickets and skate rentals
Monday through Thursday, admission costs $15 for adults and $12 for children ages 2 through 9. Friday through Sunday, the prices rise to $18 for adults and $15 for children. Skate rental is included.
Regular sessions last one hour; themed skate parties run for two hours. Free skate helpers are available for balance and support. Snacks and hot cocoa will be sold at the rink.
Advance reservations are recommended because capacity is limited. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the session to collect skates. For walk-up availability, call 404-890-6690.
A new option for group outings
New party packages combine skating, food and gathering space, with prices starting at $30 per person. Food options include pizza, barbecue, chicken tenders and grill menus. These packages offer another possibility for friends, families and workplace groups planning a holiday outing.
Separate group admission discounts are available for parties of 10 or more: 10% off for 10 to 19 skaters, 20% off for 20 to 49 and 30% off for 50 or more. The admission discounts and food packages are different options; confirm what is included when arranging a visit.
Group package booking is marked as opening soon on the reservation page. Corporate organizers can contact venuerentals@sandyspringsga.gov for arrangements.
The rink is at City Green, 1 Galambos Way in Sandy Springs. Individual tickets and group admission reservations are available through City Springs.
