Chicken Salad Chick Opens in Hickory Flat November 4

Chicken Salad Chick will open in Hickory Flat at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, adding a drive-through lunch and dinner option at 6391 Hickory Flat Highway in Canton.

The restaurant will serve more than a dozen chicken salad flavors, plus sandwiches, soups, sides and desserts. Cindy Elliot will lead the location as general manager. Regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with dine-in, takeout, third-party delivery and catering alongside the drive-through.

The opening includes four days of giveaways. The first 100 eligible guests on Wednesday can receive free chicken salad over the next year, with a larger reward for the first person in line.

What to know about opening day

Employees will begin handing out numbers at 8 a.m. Guests seeking an opening-day reward must remain in line until the restaurant opens. Leaving forfeits the spot, and drive-through orders do not qualify.

Participants need the Chicken Salad Chick app downloaded before arrival. Wi-Fi will not be available for the grand opening. A meal with one side, or an item of greater value, must be purchased, and guests must enter their reward code in the app.

The first guest will receive one large Quick Chick each week for 52 weeks. Guests two through 100 will receive one each month for 12 months. Participants must be at least 16. The first reward will arrive in the app the Monday after opening and will be valid for 30 days.

Later giveaways include tote bags November 5, hats November 6 and dish towels November 7. Those promotions require a meal with two sides and are limited to qualifying guests age 16 or older inside the restaurant.
