Dream Bring WNBA Finals Home Tonight: How to Watch Game 3

The Atlanta Dream return home for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries. The series is tied at one game apiece, and the Dream look to seize the lead before Game 4 in Atlanta this weekend.

The Atlanta Dream return home Wednesday night with a chance to take the lead in the WNBA Finals, hosting the Golden State Valkyries at State Farm Arena with the best-of-seven series tied 1–1.

Game 3 tips off at 8 p.m. Eastern on October 21. It is Atlanta’s first home Finals game since 2013, and the Dream say the arena is sold out.

Monday’s 79–65 victory in San Francisco gave Atlanta its first Finals win in franchise history. Tonight offers another opportunity: a first lead in this championship series, with a second home game still to come Saturday.

How to watch tonight

The game will air on USA Network and CNBC and stream on Peacock, according to the WNBA’s official schedule announcement.

Fans who marked their calendars earlier should note the change: Game 3 was originally scheduled for Thursday, October 22. The league moved it to Wednesday when Games 3 and 4 shifted to State Farm Arena.

What Atlanta needs to carry home

Angel Reese led the response in Game 2 with 30 points and 16 rebounds. Jordin Canada added 13 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, giving Atlanta another way to create offense when Golden State crowded the paint.

The Dream’s defense supplied much of the separation. Rhyne Howard recorded six steals, a Finals record, and Atlanta scored 24 points off turnovers. The Dream also generated 19 fast-break points, according to the team’s game recap.

That makes Golden State’s ball security a central question tonight. If Atlanta can keep disrupting passes and run before the Valkyries set their defense, it can build on the approach that worked Monday.

Finishing remains just as important. Atlanta scored only eight points in the fourth quarter of its 68–64 loss in the opener. In Game 2, the Dream kept their fourth-quarter lead from dropping below 14.

What comes next

Game 4 is Saturday, October 24, at 1 p.m. Eastern at State Farm Arena, with coverage on NBC and Peacock.

Neither team can clinch the championship tonight. Four wins are required, and each has one. But Wednesday’s winner will enter Saturday two victories away from the title.

Keep it. Pass it on.
