Free AI Training Opens to Fulton County Residents

Fulton County residents and workers can access free AI training through a new program funded by Develop Fulton. The seven-month course offers three tracks to build skills and includes a certification path.

Fulton County residents will be able to take free artificial intelligence courses through a new program launching this month, with preregistration now open.

Develop Fulton has approved $97,500 for the seven-month initiative, which will serve at least 500 residents and municipal employees through April 2027. The Enterprise Technology Association will administer the training, combining online coursework with in-person sessions.

For residents of Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell, the program offers a chance to learn skills ranging from basic prompting to using AI in everyday business tasks.

Three learning tracks will cover different needs. AI Explorer introduces the fundamentals and responsible use. AI Empowered Professional focuses on applications in areas such as marketing, finance and operations. AI Empowered Leader covers strategy and oversight for executives and managers.

The initiative welcomes career changers, small-business owners and nonprofit professionals alongside other residents and municipal workers. Training will include practical exercises and certification pathways.

Interested participants can preregister for AI Ready Fulton County. Detailed class schedules and October launch information will be announced as arrangements are finalized.

Keep it. Pass it on.
