Northside will make on-the-spot offers at Gwinnett nursing event
Northside Hospital will hold a nursing hiring event in Gwinnett offering interviews and possible job offers for registered nurses and nurse leaders. The event targets experienced candidates for day and night shifts in new acute-care units.

Northside Hospital is recruiting experienced registered nurses and nurse leaders for new acute-care units at its Gwinnett hospital, with interviews and possible job offers available Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The hiring event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gwinnett Resource Center, 665 Duluth Highway, Suite 101, in Lawrenceville.
Openings include day- and night-shift positions for registered nurses and nurse leaders. Northside has not disclosed how many employees it intends to hire or published salary ranges.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing school, hold an unrestricted Georgia RN license and maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. A bachelor’s degree, two years of RN experience and additional clinical credentials are preferred but not listed as mandatory.
The hospital’s event application identifies medical-surgical nursing as the primary category. One advertised schedule runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., although the event also covers night work and leadership roles.
Applicants should complete the online application before attending. Northside says qualified candidates can interview and receive offers during the event, shortening a hiring process that can otherwise require several rounds of scheduling.
Benefits include medical and wellness coverage, family-care programs, a 403(b), a pension plan, tuition reimbursement and possible loan-forgiveness assistance. Candidates should confirm eligibility, shift differentials and benefit costs when discussing an offer.
The recruiting drive is particularly relevant to nurses in Duluth, Suwanee, Sugar Hill and Peachtree Corners, all within commuting distance of Northside Hospital Gwinnett at 1000 Medical Center Boulevard.
It also reflects the strongest part of Georgia’s labor market. Healthcare and social-assistance employers added 20,700 jobs during the year ending in July, according to the Georgia Department of Labor, while several major white-collar sectors lost positions.
Tuesday’s event is limited to licensed nurses rather than people seeking entry-level hospital work. Northside has a separate surgical-services hiring event scheduled for Sept. 15, covering opportunities connected to its Gwinnett and Duluth facilities.
