The Toasted Yolk Plans First Atlanta-Area Restaurant in Roswell

A Texas-based brunch chain, The Toasted Yolk Café, will open its first metro Atlanta spot in Roswell this Thanksgiving. The restaurant features Southern- and Tex-Mex-inspired breakfast and lunch dishes with a full bar.

A Texas-based breakfast and lunch chain is preparing to make its metro Atlanta debut in Roswell.

The Toasted Yolk Café plans to open around Thanksgiving at 1570 Holcomb Bridge Road, Suite 855, in the ConneXion shopping center. Franchise owner DeBlair Tate is targeting late November, although a firm opening day has not been announced.

The 3,673-square-foot restaurant will bring a full-service brunch format and full bar to the center, near Planet Fitness, From the Earth Brewing Company, Whit’s Frozen Custard and Starbucks.

The menu combines breakfast standards with Southern and Tex-Mex influences. Choices include shrimp and grits, avocado toast, omelets, breakfast quesadillas, pancakes, French toast and several versions of eggs Benedict, called “Arnolds” by the chain.

The Toasted Yolk menu will mix breakfast standards with Southern and Tex-Mex influences.

Lunch options include burgers, salads, soups and sandwiches. The drinks program features mimosas, Bloody Marys, specialty coffees, beer, wine and brunch cocktails.

The Roswell restaurant will be the first of three Toasted Yolk locations planned by Tate, who is preparing to retire after 26 years in the military. Additional metro Atlanta sites have not been selected.

Founded in 2010 near Houston, The Toasted Yolk has grown to more than 60 locations, with most operating from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The company already has a Georgia restaurant in Savannah, but none in the Atlanta area.

Its arrival adds another daytime restaurant to the Holcomb Bridge Road corridor, where breakfast and brunch concepts have become an increasingly competitive part of the dining market.

The Toasted Yolk is expected to open in late November at ConneXion, less than a mile from Ga. 400.

Keep it. Pass it on.
