Best Buy is advertising seasonal work in Alpharetta, Buford and Cumming, with hourly pay ranging from $15.45 for an Alpharetta installation job to as much as $26.46 for electronics-repair support in Buford.

Six October job postings cover sales, warehouse work, in-home installation assistance and repair preparation. Best Buy has not disclosed how many people it expects to hire for these roles; a single posting may cover more than one position.

The highest advertised pay is for a part-time Triage Agent in Buford, with a range of $18.25 to $26.46 an hour. The employee prepares electronics for repair, performs basic parts replacement and cleans and tests equipment before shipment. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds, with or without accommodation, and work in a building without climate control.

A second Buford opportunity, General Warehouse Worker, pays $20.30 to $24.25 an hour. The first-shift employee loads and unloads trucks, processes merchandise and moves products through the distribution center at 1605 Broadmoor Boulevard. Applicants must be at least 18, able to lift 75 pounds with or without accommodation, and comfortable working without climate control. The position is classified as part-time and seasonal.

The Alpharetta store at 975 North Point Drive has advertised three seasonal roles. Its Retail Sales Associate and Retail Warehouse Associate jobs both offer $15.50 to $20.15 an hour.

The sales position covers customer assistance, demonstrations, checkout and store pickup orders. The warehouse employee unloads trucks, stocks merchandise and prepares online purchases. Both require three months of relevant experience and availability for nights, weekends and holidays. Warehouse applicants must be able to move up to 100 pounds with or without accommodation.

Alpharetta’s seasonal Geek Squad Installation Helper pays $15.45 to $20.09 an hour. In Cumming, the seasonal Retail Sales Associate at 2085 Market Place Boulevard pays $15.50 to $20.15 an hour. The part-time job requires three months of experience in retail or another fast-paced team environment, plus holiday, evening and weekend availability.

The postings are dated Oct. 6–12, 2026. Best Buy gives a minimum application period of five days after posting, rather than a firm closing date for these positions. Applicants should check the linked employer pages for current availability.

For workers looking to supplement household income, the hourly range is only part of the calculation. The postings do not promise a weekly number of hours or a specific end date. Those are useful questions to settle before accepting an offer, particularly for applicants fitting the work around another job, school or caregiving.

Best Buy says some seasonal store employees may later be offered Flex Worker positions, allowing them to work busy shopping days and pick up additional shifts when available. Continued employment depends on staffing needs and is not guaranteed.

Keep it. Pass it on.
