Hayden Brook’s 105-home community is taking shape off Matt Highway in North Forsyth.

The community’s grand-opening event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3910 Peach Blossom Lane, with model tours, refreshments and a giveaway. Drivers should use 4105 Matt Highway for the neighborhood entrance.

Century Communities plans to build Hayden Brook in three phases. Prices begin at $688,990, placing the development toward the upper end of new suburban housing in northern Forsyth County.

Buyers can choose among three two-story designs. The 2,987-square-foot Birch has four bedrooms and three bathrooms; the 3,403-square-foot Sapling has five bedrooms and four bathrooms; and the 3,829-square-foot Hazel provides six bedrooms and 5½ bathrooms.

Every plan includes a bedroom on the main level and a two-car garage. Depending on the design, additional spaces may include a study, loft or game room.

Planned neighborhood amenities include a swimming pool, pavilion with restrooms, playground and centralized mail kiosk. A second amenity area will have a pocket park and trails.

Hayden Brook is about three miles from GA 400 and Matt Community Park and approximately two miles from the Matt Town Center shopping area. The forthcoming Crossing at Coal Mountain retail and dining development is also less than two miles away.

The community is assigned to Coal Mountain Elementary, North Forsyth Middle and North Forsyth High, although families should confirm attendance boundaries with Forsyth County Schools before purchasing.

Century Communities has published starting prices for all three floor plans, but the initial model home remains marked as coming soon. The builder has not announced the expected completion date for all three phases.

Keep it. Pass it on.
