Medley Job Fair Looks to Fill 300 Positions Ahead of Johns Creek Opening

Medley in Johns Creek is hosting a job fair to fill more than 300 positions in retail, restaurants, and hospitality ahead of its October grand opening.

Medley is preparing for a Sept. 16 job fair as the Johns Creek development moves closer to its Oct. 29 grand opening.

Medley is moving from construction project to workplace. The 43-acre mixed-use development in Johns Creek will hold a job fair Sept. 16 as businesses prepare to hire more than 300 part-time and full-time workers ahead of Medley’s Oct. 29 grand opening.

The hiring event will run from 3 to 7 p.m. at 4300 Medley Boulevard in Johns Creek, on the second floor of the development’s office building. Walk-ins are welcome, and applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared for interviews.

The openings span retail, restaurants, hospitality management, customer service and operations, giving the job fair a broader reach than a typical single-employer hiring event.

Businesses expected to participate include Sephora, STIR, Tonic House by STIR, Playa Bowls, Fadó Irish Pub, Drybar Shops, Fogón and Lions, Minnie Olivia Pizzeria, The Nest, Hollow Oak, 13 Hub Lane and Clean Your Dirty Face.

For Johns Creek and nearby communities, the event offers one of the clearest signs yet that Medley is entering its operating phase. The project has been taking shape along McGinnis Ferry Road as one of the largest mixed-use developments underway in North Fulton.

Rendering of office and retail buildings with patios, storefronts, landscaped sidewalks and cars
Medley’s buildout is expected to bring more retail, office and residential space to Johns Creek.

Hundreds of Jobs Arriving at Once

Medley is planned around 145,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, along with 883 residences, a 25,000-square-foot central plaza, a 150-room boutique hotel and about 110,000 square feet of office space.

Rendering of outdoor seating, landscaped gathering areas and pedestrian walkways
Public gathering spaces are part of the broader Medley plan in Johns Creek.

That mix means hiring is arriving in waves rather than through one large employer. Restaurants need servers, kitchen staff and managers. Retailers need sales and customer-service workers. Hospitality and property operations create another layer of jobs as the development prepares to welcome visitors and residents.

More hiring is also likely to continue as additional businesses open and the hotel and other parts of the property come online.

The Sept. 16 event is free to attend. No appointment is required.

For applicants coming from Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Suwanee, South Forsyth and nearby communities, the timing may be especially useful. Many employers will be building their opening teams at the same time, giving job seekers an opportunity to speak with several businesses during a single visit.

Medley’s grand opening is scheduled for Oct. 29.
