Where to Watch Georgia, Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State Football on Sept. 12

Saturday's North Atlanta football games include Georgia hosting Western Kentucky, Georgia Tech versus Tennessee, and Georgia State at Kennesaw State. Games air on SEC Network, ESPN, and ESPN+. Check subscriptions before the kickoffs.

Saturday’s football lineup gives North Atlanta fans an afternoon with the Bulldogs and an evening choice between Tennessee’s visit to Georgia Tech and an all-metro matchup in Kennesaw.

The games are spread across SEC Network, ESPN and ESPN+, so checking your subscription before kickoff could save some frustration. Here’s the viewing guide for Saturday, Sept. 12. All times are Eastern.

Georgia starts the afternoon in Athens

The Bulldogs host Western Kentucky at Sanford Stadium, with kickoff at 12:45 p.m. on SEC Network. Georgia enters the game 1-0, while the Hilltoppers are looking for their first win.

Fans watching on television will need a package that includes SEC Network. Online viewers can find the game through ESPN’s streaming platforms with the appropriate subscription or provider access.

For anyone spending the afternoon in the car, the Georgia broadcast is also available on 95.5 FM WSB.

Georgia Tech gets the evening spotlight

Tennessee visits Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field for a 7 p.m. game on ESPN.

It is the 45th meeting between the Yellow Jackets and Volunteers, but only their second in the past 39 seasons—a familiar regional rivalry that has become an uncommon sight on the schedule.

Viewers can watch through a television package carrying ESPN or stream with eligible access through the ESPN app.

Georgia State and Kennesaw State share the late window

At the same time, Georgia State heads to Fifth Third Stadium to face Kennesaw State. Both teams enter 1-0, and the 7 p.m. matchup streams on ESPN+.

This is the game to check ahead of time if you usually watch through cable: having ESPN in your channel lineup does not automatically mean you can watch an ESPN+ event.

An audio broadcast is available through the KSU Owls app and the KSU Owl Network.

Check your streaming access before kickoff

Downloading the ESPN app is only the first step; access depends on your subscription or participating television provider.

For households considering a standalone streaming option, ESPN Unlimited includes ESPN’s networks and ESPN+, covering the outlets carrying all three games. Existing television subscribers should check their provider benefits before purchasing another plan.

And with Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State kicking off together, fans following both will want a second screen ready by 7 p.m.
