Macy’s North Point Shoppers Can Round Up for Alpharetta High School

Macy’s North Point Mall shoppers can now round up their purchases to donate to Alpharetta High School. The campaign runs through October and supports student academic and extracurricular programs.

Macy’s North Point Mall is partnering with the Alpharetta High School Foundation on a roundup campaign running Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

Shoppers at Macy’s in North Point Mall can support Alpharetta High School students by rounding up their purchases at checkout through Oct. 15.

The monthlong campaign, which began Sept. 15, is a partnership between Macy’s North Point Mall and the Alpharetta High School Foundation. Customers can choose to round their purchase to the next dollar, with the additional amount going to the foundation.

No registration or separate donation is required. Shoppers are offered the roundup option during checkout.

Funds raised will help the foundation provide resources and opportunities for Alpharetta High School students, including support for academics, arts, athletics, student programs and campus initiatives.

“A few cents may not seem like much, but when our community comes together, those small contributions can make a tremendous difference for our Raiders,” said Alison Patellis, fundraising chair for the Alpharetta High School Foundation.

The campaign is open to any customer shopping at the North Point Mall Macy’s, not only families currently connected to the school. The foundation is also encouraging alumni, grandparents and other members of the Alpharetta and North Fulton community to participate.

Korey Osborne, operations manager at Macy’s North Point, said the campaign gives the store’s employees and customers an opportunity to invest directly in local students.

“We’re proud to be part of an effort that brings people together for a positive impact,” Osborne said.
