Thai Night Market Returns to Buckhead Oct. 16 With Street Food and Live Music

Snap Thai Fish House will transform its Buckhead courtyard into a Thai Night Market with food, music, and games on October 16. Admission is free with tokens for purchases. The event benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Snap Thai Fish House will turn its Buckhead courtyard into an open-air Thai night market Friday, Oct. 16, with street food, cocktail booths, carnival games, live music and Thai merchandise.

The restaurant’s third annual market runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, with food and drinks purchased using tokens.

Bangkok-born executive chef Pattie Lawlertratana will prepare dishes including chargrilled oysters, Thai beef jerky, satay kai and mango sticky rice. Ketel One and Patrón will have cocktail booths, and $2 from every Gran Patrón purchase during the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Advance tokens cost less

Guests can buy six tokens for $20 in advance, including one bonus token, through noon Thursday, Oct. 15. Each guest must purchase individually. At the door, five tokens will cost $25, with no bonus token.

Advance purchases are available through the restaurant’s Thai Night Market page.

The event takes place in the courtyard at 3699 Lenox Road NE, Suite 5, Atlanta. For North Atlanta readers planning an evening in Buckhead, the three-hour market offers a chance to sample several Thai dishes in an outdoor setting.

Lawlertratana, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu, opened Snap Thai Fish House in May 2023.

Keep it. Pass it on.
