Thanksgiving dinner can come home in a takeout package this year, with a traditional turkey-and-sides meal in Roswell and a Peruvian-style feast in Atlanta among the early options for North Atlanta families.
Truth Be Told is offering a $280 meal for six, while Madre Selva’s $249 package serves seven to nine. Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26. This guide begins with those two menus; restaurants are invited to submit additional options for editorial review below.
Truth Be Told, Roswell: $280 for six
Truth Be Told, at 1104 Canton Street, is preparing a whole spatchcocked roasted turkey with mac and cheese, collard greens with ham hocks, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. Banana bread with toffee sauce finishes the meal.
The carryout package costs $280 and is intended to feed six people. To order, email Jonathan.yu@tbtlounge.com or call 678-699-6683, the contact provided for Thanksgiving orders. Confirm the order deadline, pickup time and any additional charges directly with the restaurant before placing an order.

Madre Selva, Atlanta: $249 for seven to nine
Executive chef Mayra Dominguez’s Thanksgiving menu centers on a whole, 16-pound Peruvian-style roasted turkey with ají pollero, a creamy pepper sauce. The package serves seven to nine and includes a choice of Peruvian-style Arabic rice or corn rice, a choice of Russian potato salad or Waldorf salad, and bread pudding.
The price is $249, with extra sides available separately. Preorders are taken online through Monday, November 23, or until sold out. Customers pay when ordering and select their rice, salad and a 15-minute pickup window.
Thanksgiving Day pickup runs from 9 a.m. to noon at 570 Main Street NE in Atlanta. This option requires a drive into the city; it is included for readers willing to travel for a different holiday menu.
Before you order
Check the final total, pickup arrangements and serving size with the restaurant. Ask whether the food will be ready to serve or needs reheating, and discuss any dietary restrictions directly with the kitchen. Availability can change as Thanksgiving approaches.
