After more than two decades as a familiar name in downtown Alpharetta, Efendi Mediterranean Restaurant has officially entered a new chapter. Formerly known as Café Efendi, the long-standing, family-owned restaurant has rebranded with a refreshed name and updated look—while keeping the heart of its kitchen firmly rooted in Turkish and Mediterranean tradition.
The new name, simply Efendi, reflects what the restaurant says it has always been about: Mediterranean cuisine with a distinctly Turkish soul. According to the owners, the change is not about reinventing the restaurant, but clarifying its identity after more than 20 years serving the Alpharetta community.
What’s Changed—and What Hasn’t
The rebrand comes with thoughtful updates to the dining room, bar, and patio, giving the space a refreshed feel while preserving its relaxed, neighborhood character. Guests will still find the same ownership, the same team, and the same menu that made Café Efendi a downtown staple.
Signature Turkish and Mediterranean dishes remain central, alongside familiar experiences like Turkish breakfast, evening dinners, cocktails, hookah, and late-night dining. For longtime patrons, the restaurant emphasizes continuity rather than disruption—this is the same place, just more clearly itself.
A Rebrand Celebration for Diners
To mark the transition, Efendi is inviting guests to experience the updated restaurant with a limited-time promotion. Diners can receive a complimentary appetizer (up to $10) with a minimum $50 dine-in purchase by mentioning the rebrand offer to their server.
The promotion is valid for dine-in only, one appetizer per table, and runs through February 28, 2026. Full terms apply, including a single use per guest and no combination with other offers.
