Simple Man Distillery Hiring Ahead of Cumming City Center Opening

Simple Man Distillery is hiring as it nears opening its distillery and cocktail bar at Cumming City Center. The new venue will highlight Georgia-grown spirits and offer a speakeasy-style experience near the Lou Sobh Amphitheater.

Simple Man Distillery is moving closer to opening at Cumming City Center, with the business now hiring as it prepares to bring its long-planned distillery, cocktail bar and tasting room to 430 Vision Drive.

The project has been in the works since 2022 and has missed earlier opening targets. Cumming City Center still lists Simple Man as coming soon, but recent hiring activity suggests the business is now building its operating team.

Simple Man has advertised for hospitality and events positions, including roles tied to bar service and private gatherings. Its planned Cumming location will combine spirits production with a speakeasy-style tasting room, cocktails, food and event space near the Lou Sobh Amphitheater.

The company focuses on Georgia-grown ingredients, using peaches, apples and botanicals from farms around the state in products including vodka, smoked apple brandy and Gullah Geechee Gin. The Cumming site will be its first permanent brick-and-mortar distillery.

The opening would fill one of the last major spaces still awaiting activation at Cumming City Center, which now describes its commercial space as fully leased. Tavern Off the Green recently opened nearby, leaving Simple Man among the most closely watched remaining arrivals.

An exact opening date has not yet been announced.

Keep it. Pass it on.
