Cuzco Plans Peruvian and Latin Restaurant in Peachtree Corners

Cuzco Peruvian and Latin Kitchen is targeting a late January or early February 2027 opening in Peachtree Corners. The family-run restaurant will expand on its Brookhaven menu in the former Tortugas Cuban Grill space.

Cuzco Peruvian and Latin Kitchen is preparing to open in Peachtree Corners, bringing a family-run restaurant from Brookhaven to the former Tortugas Cuban Grill space on Holcomb Bridge Road.

Owner Joel Manrique Flores is targeting a late January or early February 2027 opening at 3466 Holcomb Bridge Road, Suite AA. Remodeling is underway, but a precise opening date has not been set.

The new restaurant will keep the Peruvian foundation of the original Cuzco while widening the menu to include dishes from other parts of Latin America. Cuban food is expected to be part of the expanded approach, maintaining a connection to the restaurant previously occupying the space.

Flores and his mother, Marylin Flores, opened their Brookhaven restaurant after years of thinking about a family food business. The idea began when Flores was about 12 and his parents prepared and sold Peruvian dishes at an annual festival celebrating Peru’s Independence Day.

The response stayed with the family. Their Brookhaven restaurant, Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine, opened in 2025 and established the menu and service style that will serve as the foundation for the Peachtree Corners location.

Lomo saltado is among its signature dishes. The Peruvian classic combines wok-seared beef with onions, tomatoes and soy sauce, served with rice and potatoes. It is one example of the Chinese influence that has become part of Peru’s food culture.

That culinary tradition also appears in arroz chaufa, Peruvian fried rice, and aeropuerto, a combination of fried rice and noodles. Japanese-Peruvian cooking will contribute sushi rolls and tiradito, thinly sliced raw fish dressed with citrus and chile.

The existing Cuzco menu includes ceviche, ají de gallina, anticuchos, seafood rice and dishes built around ají amarillo and huancaína sauce. Individual offerings may change when the Peachtree Corners restaurant opens.

Flores wants the new location to introduce Peruvian cooking to more diners while giving groups a wider choice of familiar and unfamiliar Latin American dishes at one table.

The restaurant joins a stretch of Holcomb Bridge Road serving Peachtree Corners and neighboring Norcross and Roswell, adding another independent dining option to an already varied corridor.

Flores outlined the plans in an October 20 interview with Business Debut. Opening hours and reservation details have not yet been announced.

Keep it. Pass it on.
