New Restaurants Keep Arriving at The Forum Peachtree Corners

The Forum Peachtree Corners is adding new flavor to one of Gwinnett County’s best-known open-air shopping centers, with a new Persian restaurant, fresh food hall activity, a high-end Japanese concept and a coming ice cream shop reshaping the dining mix along Peachtree Parkway.

The most notable new arrival is Golestan, now open at 5173 Peachtree Parkway. The Persian restaurant brings a more distinctive dining option to The Forum, with a name drawn from the famous collection of prose and stories associated with the Persian poet Saadi Shirazi. Golestan translates roughly to “flower garden” or “rose garden,” and the restaurant leans into that theme with a design inspired by Persian architecture and culture.

The menu gives Peachtree Corners diners a chance to try dishes that are still not common in many suburban shopping centers. Golestan highlights traditional Persian dishes such as Mirza Ghasemi, Kashk Bademjan, Adas Polo and crispy saffron Tahdig, with an open kitchen concept that lets guests watch the preparation behind the food. The restaurant is positioned as casual fine dining, making it a new option for date nights, family dinners, business meals and group gatherings without requiring a drive into Atlanta.

Just steps away, Politan Row at The Forum continues to build its own role as a dining destination. Located at 5145 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 455, the food hall brings multiple food and beverage concepts together under one roof, with a central bar, indoor seating and an outdoor patio. The setup gives families and groups an easy way to eat together even when everyone wants something different.

One of the newest names in that lineup is I Love Tacos, which recently joined Politan Row with a focus on crispy Tacos Dorados. The concept brings shredded beef tacos, burritos and other Mexican dishes to the food hall, adding another quick, casual choice to a roster that already includes 26 Thai, Buzzin’ Burgers, King’s Chicken, Kimchi Red, Nori Island, Millie’s Pizzeria and Bar Politan.

Politan Row is open daily for lunch and dinner, with hours listed as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

The Forum’s dining changes do not stop there. Sei Ryu, a high-end Japanese restaurant at 5163 Peachtree Parkway, adds sushi, appetizers and omakase service to the center’s lineup. The restaurant was created by Chef Ranno Wuyan, whose background includes chef-driven restaurants in Las Vegas and Boston, along with local experience at MF Bar Avalon and Sushi Mito. The space includes a cocktail bar, sushi bar, indoor dining room and rooftop patio overlooking The Plaza.

Another coming addition is Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, which is planned for 5143 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 1SB. The New York-born ice cream brand started from a yellow truck in 2008 and is known for both classic and vegan flavors. Once open, it will give The Forum another dessert stop and a natural after-dinner draw for families, couples and shoppers.

Together, the openings point to a larger shift at The Forum. The center is no longer relying only on traditional retail and familiar chain restaurants. It is adding food hall energy, more international dining, dessert, patios and gathering spaces — the same mix that many suburban centers now use to keep people on-site longer.
