Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Brings Late-Night Scoops to Peachtree Corners

The Forum at Peachtree Corners has added another destination to its growing restaurant district with the opening of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, a New York-born company known for traditional and vegan flavors.
The scoop shop opened July 2 at 5143 Peachtree Parkway NW, on the northern end of The Forum beside Politan Row and across from DSW. It is Van Leeuwen’s second metro Atlanta location, following its shop at Ponce City Market.
More than 30 flavors are expected to rotate through the Peachtree Corners store. Familiar selections include Sicilian pistachio, honeycomb, Earl Grey tea and peanut butter brownie honeycomb, alongside dairy-free choices made with ingredients such as oats, coconut and cashews. The menu also includes sundaes, milkshakes, cookies, ice cream sandwiches and pints to take home.
Van Leeuwen began in 2008 from a yellow ice cream truck on the streets of New York City. Founders Ben and Pete Van Leeuwen and Laura O’Neill later expanded the business into a national collection of scoop shops while continuing to place vegan ice cream alongside its traditional dairy offerings rather than treating it as a limited alternative.
The Peachtree Corners location also fills a practical gap at The Forum: dessert after dinner. The store remains open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, extending activity at the property beyond conventional shopping hours.
That timing fits The Forum’s continuing transition from a traditional outdoor shopping center into a broader dining and gathering district. Recent redevelopment has introduced new public spaces and restaurants, while future plans include residential development and a boutique hotel.
Van Leeuwen joins a dining lineup that now includes Politan Row, Millie’s Pizzeria, Golestan, Nando’s, Sei Ryu and several established restaurants. Its arrival adds a casual stop suited to families, movie-night outings and visitors looking to extend an evening at The Forum without committing to another full meal.
