Northside Forsyth Plans Nursing Interviews and Job Offers Nov. 11

Northside Hospital Forsyth will interview nurses for medical and surgical units at a November 11 hiring event in Cumming. Registered and licensed practical nurses, nurse residents, and leaders are invited to apply and may receive on-site offers.

Northside Hospital Forsyth will interview nurses for medical and surgical units on Nov. 11, with plans to make job offers during the event. The recruitment includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, RN residents and nurse leaders.

The three-hour hiring event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Bennett Conference Room at 1400 Northside Forsyth Drive, Suite 180, Cumming. Candidates can use Northside’s event registration and application link to begin the process.

The inclusion of RN residents gives nurses entering hospital practice a route into the recruitment alongside experienced applicants. Northside’s residency programs accept newly licensed and graduating nurses, second-career nurses, nurses who have completed a re-entry program, and experienced nurses changing specialties.

At Forsyth, the acute-care residency lasts 12 to 16 weeks, with schedules varying by assignment. Department options include general medicine, cardiac acute care, general post-surgical care, orthopedics and neurology post-surgical care, and geriatric general medicine.

A separate spring 2027 Forsyth acute-care residency application is also open. That position requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an unrestricted Georgia RN license in good standing and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. It is a position for trained nurses, rather than a program that replaces nursing school.

Northside has not disclosed salary ranges or a vacancy total for the Nov. 11 event. Candidates will need to confirm pay, shift assignments and start dates for the particular position offered.

Imaging professionals have a separate opportunity the following day. Northside will hold virtual radiology interviews Nov. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. for CT, interventional, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine and radiologic technologists at its Atlanta hospital. Despite its name and Atlanta mailing address, that hospital is in Sandy Springs. Registration is available through the event page.

Keep it. Pass it on.
