ANDRITZ Is Hiring Engineers and Project Leaders in Alpharetta

Industrial technology company ANDRITZ is recruiting for at least six permanent positions connected to its Alpharetta operation, with openings spanning electrical engineering, project management and technical sales.

The hiring is concentrated in specialized work serving pulp-and-paper mills and other industrial facilities across North America. Several positions are based in the Alpharetta office, while two are remote roles assigned to the location and require substantial travel.

A Senior Project Manager for Automation and Electrification will lead major capital projects, managing budgets, schedules, equipment procurement and project risks. Applicants need an engineering degree or equivalent and at least eight years of project-management experience. Domestic and international travel is typically 5% to 20%.

ANDRITZ is also seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to design power, instrumentation and control systems for industrial plants. The job includes facility audits, engineering estimates, system testing and commissioning. Applicants need an electrical-engineering degree or similar credential and at least five years of industrial-engineering experience.

A separate Electrical & Controls Engineer position requiring a Professional Engineer license carries similar responsibilities. Both roles are office-based in Alpharetta and may require travel to customer sites.

The Project Engineer for White Liquor Plant Services provides a somewhat broader route into the company. Applicants may qualify with a mechanical or chemical engineering degree, or with at least five years of relevant experience in equipment design, project execution, maintenance, sales or mill operations.

That position combines office work with field assignments at paper mills and manufacturing facilities. Duties include equipment diagnostics, maintenance planning, budgeting, subcontractor coordination and customer support. Travel within the United States and Canada may consume 25% to 50% of the schedule.

Two remote openings are tied to Alpharetta but cover larger territories. The Technical Product Sales Manager for Automation and Digitalization works with pulp-and-paper customers in the eastern United States. Candidates need an engineering background and at least five years of industrial engineering or technical-sales experience.

The Service Account Manager for the South and Gulf territory serves customers in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi. The position involves regular customer visits, sales planning and coordination with engineering and maintenance teams. An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience is required, while pulp-and-paper experience is preferred.
